I'm sulking because when I got up and looked at the boards this morning there is fighting everywhere...even in the Sulking Thread. :-(

I'm beginning to understand why Celtic Wolf took a break from the boards.

I'm sulking because I forgot to check my G5 this morning ... and just now found out that the last
WU it sent in was ay 4:20UTC this morning!
Normally it sends two every 50 - 55 mins ... so I have lost 10 WU's from my total!!!
Why does it just stop like that ... I thought it was "set-and-forget" .....
So I am sulking!!!!!

I'm sulking because my main box is reducing it's RAC for reasons unknown. I am now down nearly 80 cobblestones average for this 1 machine. It looks like my RAC will hit 0 in about 2 months at this rate!

Geez, gas prices went up 6 cents since yesterday! Congrats to San Diego! We have hit 3 bucks a gallon for cheapo unleaded! This is more than just a sulk, its a FREAKING SULK!
You should try living here, in the outer rim, where gas prices are more than double that - even if we are the 3rd largest oil producer in the world...

I support Prognatus, the UK is the same due to fuel tax and VAT.

In US terms, based on a US gallon, we are paying about $7.50 per gallon. That is why Europe has gone over to diesel cars in a big way. Little loss in performance, but 60 mpg is not uncommon.

Bloody Government and their taxes .... SULK! SULK!

Likewise.....here in central Asia, we are paying about 7.50 (local currency) a gallon also!!

I remember when i was living in the U.S. in 1990 it was about $1 USD / gallon for the cheap stuff.... I think the U.S. must have some of the cheapest fuel on the planet.... go figure.

I normally crunch 2 WUs at a time in about 1.25 hours. However, the WUs coming through just now are taking 1.75+ hours, so must be VLARs (in the old Classic terminology). There seems to be a large number coming through, so the RAC, over time, would fall noticeably.

I have a 3 day cache and only a few WUs shown as pending!

But in Europe your public transportation systems are better than ours will ever be.

You need to move to NJ. It's the onlything in NJ that is extremely good.

NJ Transit has the whole state covered in one form or another.

That may be true for some parts of Europe, like London, Paris, Moscow, Berlin and other big cities, but I've lived most of my life in a place where the only public transport - a bus - went @ 6 PM Saturday night and the next one didn't arrive until Monday morning. This is in one of the most dense populated areas in south of this country. In the north, the situation is much much worse. Plus the gas is even more expensive in the north than here, after the government got rid of the special transport subdices for that part of the country. Large parts of North Norway is so desolate they must have a car to survive. Just imagine having 300 miles to the nearest doctor... and your wife is pregnant in her 9th month...

Are you saying you have some 3000 WUs in your cache? I surely hope you have about 30 Macs there holding that many WUs in cache. If not, you're going to overrun deadlines BIG time. I hope I don't have any WUs that you do. SUPER SULK.... (-:<

Thank you, Enigma, but I won't need them. I have reason to sulk, but I know people who have it worse than me, so I don't.
