In for a late morning win.

Ugh, have to do my taxes today. I've put this off for three months now and there due this week. No refund for me, I'm still paying on taxes owed from 2008.

I hope someone enjoys the new flat screen TV they get with my refund. Gotta spread the wealth..

I have the same task today. the fact that 47 out of 100 of my citizen peers don't pay anything at all doesn't make this task any easier.

Perhaps we can get a few of these good fellows to make a comment here. Get out the kleenix because I'm sure there are more than a few sad stories to hear, explaining why they can take our money through government confiscation and at the same time cancel our vote so we have no say in this mess.

Oh no, Not more wealth redistribution... ;)

We shouldn't spend money on Freeways or on HSR or on etc, etc... ;)

BTW, Yes I'm for HSR and Freeways, As HSR will by Its very nature bypass a lot of small towns and so a Freeway will still be important.

Well My screen May be flat and fairly decent sized(57"), But then It was paid for when I had an inheritance, Easy come, Easy go, But then I don't complain about My TV or do work on It outside of dusting from time to time when needed. :D

Good morning friends! Victor, I think the world would be a happier place if we all had a little bit of Christmas in our hearts every day. Sciurus, Eric feels your pain. He started working on our taxes this weekend too. He gets to count such manly endeavors as "his share of the housework" and I completely agree!!!

Hit the mail yesterday. Of course some years it has been September. Royal PITA when a company that sends you a form you need to file your taxes files for an extension ... and you know you are due a refund ...

In any case, everyone please enjoy form 6251: The Robin Hood tax.

I'm doing mine, too. However, I adjust my dependents claimed during the year so that I typically get a very small refund or owe just a little. I have no problem paying my share each year. However, loaning extra money to Uncle Sam interest free during the year is not very smart.

I've never had to do a tax return. The government always took it straight out of my wages.

I'm "lucky" like that too. I don't get to see half my salary because our Government have widdled it up the wall before it's given to me :(

I guess I was luckier than you then as I didn't earn enough to lose half..only a third of mine was taken from pay check each month. :D
