Gee... Here's another thought... Did this one ever cross your mind?:

How would the poor pay the poor??? ;)

I've made it OK. The killer flight is the one from Hong Kong to London -> 12hrs stuck in a seat that is too small, shoe horned in between other seats so you can't get out then say they have a video on demand entertainment system that ends up working only half the time. GEEZ I LOVE FLYING!

Congratulations, and welcome to Blighty!

Now recover from the JetLag and then start enjoying the visit.

You will notice the competitive nature of the driving here, but, at least, it is on the correct side of the road for you!
It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

Just got a call from the intrepid explorer...

..tomorrow he's heading for the wilds of North Lancashire to sample all that Morecambe has to offer...

That should take all of 10 minutes. :o)

Looking forward to sharing a couple of beers...

That long, must be going to pick cockles.

I left our intrepid team leader this morning (and what a fella he is!) after having quite a few pints last night and am now in Paris in a quaint old hotel. The good thing about this place is that it has free wireless internet....woohoo! Time for a quick shower then I'm off to explore the surrounds. Anyone fancy some snails?

Sorry Jord. No plans to. This is a work thing and I can't stay any longer as I have a vacation pre-booked for over year a few days after I get back to Oz. Fancy heading on down to Paris next weekend?

Did you know they speak French in Paris..well I never..who'd have known! Parlez vue Anglais?

I know they speak French there... hence why I will decline on heading down there any weekend. ;-)

I'll stick with gummies if I want chewy and tasty.

As to the "rubbery" point; I'm sure that a set of Michelins from any automobile have better texture... But I won't eat those, either.

Ewww... Throw salt on 'em and let 'em fizz down into nothingness...

Gross!
