Now I am really lost, is this Seti@home? My stats are low so am I a "nubbeeee"?
I have recently returned to Seti and I don't remember all this bickering about stats. I was a member years ago, do my stats count from the past? I don't care if they do or they don't, I think we are all here for the same purpose but a few back it bad for others.....come on kids let just get a long.

when SETI SYNERGY members refer to their "stats"...they are referring to the BOINC statistics pages they offer...it's the "stats" pages they are bragging about (and rightfully so, cause they're great) not their own team stats.

Robert, this thread was created for having fun in recruiting new members for whatever team we are a member of. The best stats reference is not strictly a team thing. The stats are universal. If you go to the BOINC Synergy site [click my sig to get there] you will see what I mean. There is no bickering or flaming in this thread, it is for fun only. Welcome back, and I'm not sure about your old stats. If you were a member of BS then you might contact Zain, the webmaster for BS. Oh, BS is short for BOINC Synergy, of course.

Anyway, if your not on a team, join one [preferably BS] and come back here for some fun recruiting.... >:-) (-:

Thanks, From what i saw on that page it seems like that most people belong to a team. I'm i one of the few out here alone that is not a team member? Also i don't understand the part about "before you actually join a Team ...." i don't have to eat live worms or anything like that do i???

Also where do i go to download the Emoticons i see on these message boards?

Ricky, you don't have to eat any worms to be a part of "Boinc Synergy". If you join the "Final Front Ear" there may be sheep involved. With "Spread Firefox" you may end up spreading something... ;-)

As far as the smilies, if you right-click and select properties you will see where the smilies originate from. If you have more questions, please ask :-)
