Not to mention certain individuals taking my list of whines and modifying it for their purpose. Hence, these 2 simple rules: Rule #1: There will be no excessive crapping in this thread. You may use the word crap, but not to extremes. Rule #2: Do not copy my list of whines and modify them for you purpose[s]. Make your own. That said: I dedicate this thread to ALL who would like to: Whine about no WUs. Whine about no uploading. Whine about no downloading. Whine about how BOINC is crap. Whine about how SETI is crap. You can type it in as universe64 and as Universe64, both are accepted. I am a mean cracker. I don't like you. I know your email address and I have a program that can search for your password. I am a mean cracker. How long does it take me to crack that password and edit your settings for Boinc, you think? Now, your password is UnivERsE64 .. how much longer do you think my program will take? What was said on the developer's list: If passwords are case sensitive, then since ASCII chars 32-126 are allowed, and there is a six char min, this allows a min set of 95^6=735 091 890 625 passwords. Making them case insensitive drops this to 69^6 = 107 918 163 081 six char combinations. The odds of guessing a password are thus extremely small, even if they are case insensitive. I want the odds to be as big as possible. So you can't guess my password is RedRoVeR&45. :) ID: 143261 ·
