Eighteen years on June 5th for me. Boy has the computing capability changed since then. Seems there are lots of us "Old Timers". |

Geeze, 18 years came and went. Amazing. Where the heck does the time go, and why does it seem to be going faster every year? I mean, it's almost May already. Crazy. *Edit* Hey Gerald, we joined the same day! Congrats! *raises glass in a toast* |

18 years and counting... Time sure flies when you're having fun. And we are having fun, aren't we? I've just started buying parts for a Ryzen system and maybe an upgrade from 750Ti to 10xx but it's going to be a while before it comes on line. The thought flits through my head - a new meaning of the Setizen moniker. Happy anniversary to all the rest of the old timers. |

I have to wait until 6th Dec this year, so until then... :) Since I had an earlier account I abandoned in the SETI@home classic days. I've taken to just going by the number of year rather than the sign up date of this account. And boom! 18 years, and counting May 14th 1999 to May 14th 2017. And think, how many plantets are there now (Kepler)? The time is coming when we will Learn ithat we are not alone. Some of have us have known that for going on 20 years now. Keep on searching Macbook Pro! Sedge. if by chance an honest man like yourself were to make enemies, they would become my enemies. and then they will fear you. |

Time to celebrate another anniversary. I remember when I first downloaded SETI@home and was mesmerized by the screen saver function. And here we are today, accomplishing more in a few minutes than the days it took to finish a work unit in 1999. I look forward to continuing to participate in this adventure for years to come. |

I started 18 years ago today with a single iMac. It has been slow going since then but I have been faithfully grinding out the work throughout the years. I've worked some other projects, too, but I always kept something going for SETI. My contributions don't amount to much but every work unit helps. :-) Plus SETI Classic = 21,082 WUs |

Wow - can't believe it's been 18 years for me too (well, 18 years on 24th of June). Perhaps we'll actually catch something interesting one of these days! |

Congrats to all who have stuck through thick and thin for the last 18 years. See you again in August. I don't buy computers, I build them!! |
