I don't think anyone started this thread yet, if so I could not find it. But today marks 16 years of number crunching for me.

Congratulations to all of the 16 year club members.

Has it been 16 years already?

I can't say I've been here for all of that time, came and went many times over the years mostly due to moving and living in very remote locations.

But congratulations to all those who are still here and have continued to contribute to SETI.

I have been gone more than here but I did join WAY BACK THEN. Going to hit the 1 million mark in a few days. Not as big as lots of others but still a milestone for me.

Thank you for starting this much-needed thread. I hope it remains available and active. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Incidentally, a search will reveal that there are still many threads that can be used by those participants that have fewer than the maximum number of years. I think that all years from 15 down to about 7 are still accessible. I would like to see everyone who is eligible sign in to the appropriate thread to celebrate their achievements.

Still here! But getting long of tooth... whatever that means(?)
Hoping to be around for the 17-year milestone. Hmmm, isn't that when the cicadas hatch out again?

I'm still a few days away from my 16 year anniversary, but had a trip down memory lane and found my old 1999 Seti computer in the closet. Took it to Warcraft II lan parties all the time.

Good to see so many of you still here. Congratulations to each of you. That 1999 box is great. It that a towel rod on top?

16 years? Sure does not seem that long ago. I hope we are all still around for the 25 anniversary.

Sweet 2^4 is near for me too. I do not remember if it was a Cyrix, AMD or a true 386 that I started with. The tasks took ages to complete. Now I do 4 shorties every 2 minutes and the autocorrelation has been added to the calculation a few years ago too.

I think you meant May 20th 1999... :)

An interesting stat for the Class of 1999-05-20, of the 2,236 users
registered that Day, 350 are still banging away... :)
