[...] If you use the ReScheduler BOINC can't do his job well.. ;-) I wouldn't go too high with the WU cache. Max. ~ 1.2 GB WUs on HDD, if higher BOINC go crazy and DL, DL and DL new WUs. Overloaded/overworked BOINC and no longer useable. I have had upload problems since around 8:20 UTC this morning, getting internet access ok project servers temp down messages so will wait until tomorrow my time and hopefully this problem will be sorted out.

Same UL Problems here; hope I can get some of my ULs through, cause some WUs have a deadline in now 4,5 hours ... Hope, their ISP can sort the problems out - Performance is not a simple linear function of the number of CPUs you throw at the problem. - ID: 970858 · |

I've been getting hit with the same UL problem as everyone else all night long, I still have work as I have a 5 day cache(I've kept internet access for Boinc halted most of the time with an occasional test that says It's still fouled up somewhere), Hopefully though the problem will get fixed as soon as possible, Until then I wait. :D Savoir-Faire is everywhere! I've been getting hit with the same UL problem as everyone else all night long, I still have work as I have a 5 day cache(I've kept internet access for Boinc halted most of the time with an occasional test that says It's still fouled up somewhere), Hopefully though the problem will get fixed as soon as possible, Until then I wait. :D I've just left mine alone. Looks like I have a few days work as I am well over 1.2 GB of work. I average around 1.72GB lately and everything is fine other than not uploading.... Official Abuser of Boinc Buttons... And no good credit hound!

So higher your WU cache is, so more work for boinc.exe (BOINC client). So less CPU WUs calculated because the client need much CPU time. So smaller the WU cache, so higher the RAC. Think about.. ;-) My GPU cruncher (AMD 940 BE & 4x OCed GTX260-216).. boinc.exe need ~ 3 hours/day CPU time. So this is a 'normal' WU for ~ 120 Credits/day loss. - ~ 120 RAC. If I would increase my 3 day WU cache (~ 700 MB - 1.0 GB, depend of AR mix), the loss would increase. And BOINC would be unuseable.. The GPU cruncher ~ 24 hours no contact to the SETI@home servers. Hope the pipe is after the maintenance cleared for my ~ 600 results (if only 'normal' AR WUs) (one day WUs).. ____________ [Optimized project applications, for to increase your PC performance (double RAC)!][Overview of abbreviations, which are used often in forum and their meaning.]

Im geting same erors 2 days now? We hope after the weekly (Tuesday) server maintenance the pipe is again well. I was going to add that + I get my new Power Supply today and add my 3rd Cuda card and only use 3 CPU's.... Official Abuser of Boinc Buttons... And no good credit hound!

Like I said, I have a 3 day WU cache and still ~ 1 1/2 days WUs. The machines don't idle.. hiamps, take care because of the WU cache. Lot of people saw BOINC DLing, DLing and DLing WUs.. (crazy mode) Don't go too high. BOINC will not be longer useable, the only way would be to uninstall BOINC and delete the folder/s. Detach/attach not possible. BTW. Still not possible to UL. Also not possible during the weekly server maintenance.
