Poor kitties, do they like the cold weather/snow though? You need to get some more meter-changing work, then. Loved that story in the farm power consumption thread. |

Looks like the servers are allowing WUs to connect that are "ready to report". 63 of mine on 2 rigs have just cleared, but there is still no new WUs to crunch. One of my rigs is OK, but the other is now on Malaria as it has no cache left to work from. It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues |

This flu season has been murder on Me and My relatives so far. Did you get a "flu shot"? I have never had one, and I have never had the flu...despite major outbreaks here... |

This flu season has been murder on Me and My relatives so far. And from what I've learned so far, If I had gotten the shot would've have had no effect on the strain that I had caught. Toilet paper(I ran through 2 boxes of tissues), plenty of It and some prescriptions from the Doctor is all. The Flu is a contact type Virus, You have to touch someone or something that has a live virus to get It. Be glad You don't have It, Yet as It's widespread in most states, If Osama Bin Laden came here I'd give It to Him, They deserve each other and then drop Him back over Pakistan for His Cronies to get It. :) The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

This flu season has been murder on Me and My relatives so far. I don't mean that I didn't get a shot this year. I mean I have never had a flu shot, other than perhaps when I was very young. For at least the past 25 years I do know that I have not had a "flu shot". As you point out, it is only a guess as to what strain. As such, I have difficulty accepting injecting a virus, live or dead, into me that may not have any impact other than potentially me reacting to something in it, so all I see so far are negatives, especially in light of 25+ years of history... As for contact vs. airborne, flu is actually primarily airborne, that is why it can spread quickly... |
