Hey everyone look at me I just past my 1000th post. I almost didn't notice so I'm up to 1009 now. It's kind of a success for me. 1000+ posts on a great project and amongst such wonderful people. That is so nice to me. I don't know if those posts were good but to me it is good to be here. It's only a little thing but I'm smiling today. Speaking for myself, it depends on who you're talking about. cRunchy is good company: he has pleasant things to say, he's full of good will, and is a good influence on the boards. When someone like that posts often, it keeps the atmosphere around here pleasant. He helps make things "GemÃƒÂ¼tlich", for lack of a better word. It's a good question but I can only say what I meant by starting this thread. I didn't really post this thread because I thought I had done something outstanding. I just posted it because I noticed I had been around these forums for 1000 posts. 1000 posts is not a massive count but it is something I did here. More than that it is something I did amongst fellow members here. I think when someone writes their first post on these forums it is just as special as when they post their 10th, 100th or 1000th post. I guess I was just feeling emotional and thinking about the way some people find it easy to fit in from their very first post and others like me have to write a few extra posts. It's natural that we are all different but I kind of was thinking that I felt accepted now. I think I was just celebrating the fact that I would never of been able to have posted 1000 posts unless I felt comfortable amongst the core majority of members here. Not all markers or celebrations need to seem 'usefull' - It's often more about the people rather than the event. More important than my number of posts is that people stopped by and said something nice to me. That's far more precious. ID: 662228 ·
