Popped into the Uni to run a couple of long NMR experiments while the machine is quiet, found that the roof sprang a leak during last night's rainstorm and the computer room is three inches deep.

The department manager sounded like he was having a seisure when i rang him.

Oh dear. Any equipment damage?

Pierogi are NOT pancakes. As Don said, they're the Polish equivalent of ravioli or pot stickers. They can be stuffed with potato, cheese, potato and cheese, meat, kraut, fruit, or almost anything else. They are usually served with melted butter.

Ping!

[edit almost an hour later]
Ah crap. I just knocked a glass on the floor, right here where I sit in front of the computer. I did my best to sweep it up, but I'll probably get a glass splinter in my foot. At least it was empty.

Most won't accommodate someone as tall as Me, but since I have 3 metal screws in My left leg, an MRI is off limits.

As far as I know, when it's inside the body, it's either stainless steel or titanium; I have a small metal rod holding my right fibula together and metal staples holding my sternum together (probably healed well enough after 18 years, but then.....)

Pong! While waiting to take out a fully loaded bag to the bin, it's full, so I wait until it's empty, the trash company doesn't like an over full bin.

Ping!ing after taking out the recycling. Smells like skunk in the neighborhood. Bed soon, I think.
