Message 1053131 - Posted: 5 Dec 2010, 6:48:47 UTC - in response to Message 1053128.

Winning on a rainy Saturday night in Central California. Relaxing with a cold beer and all the good folks in the Seti Cafe, after a long day at work, followed by a hot bath and then dinner.

Dinner this late? I'm in the central coast, no rain and it's past 10.

Wait for It... ;)

No, dinner was at 7:30. Had a couple other projects to work on before I dropped in here for a nightcap. Just clouds right now, but it's been raining on and off all day, with more due tomorrow about noon-ish, or so the weather-guessers say.

Update: Just started raining again (11:45 pm PST). Time to go feed the monster dog in the garage, then off to bed. G'night, all. Manana, amigos.

This particular part of sarf London still has some snow though it is thawing, not fast enough for me. Got to be in Bournemouth Monday!!

Kingston has totally clear roads and pavements. I'm driving to Portsmouth this afternoon I'll let you know what it's like down there. Presumably you're going M3/M27 ?

Actually I normally go A3 - A31 - Join the M3 at Winchester. As I have never liked the M3, I prefer to drive on a real road!! But I might make an exception tomorrow if the roads are still bad.

Win

A3/A3M is clear of snow and ice all the way to Portsmouth. But I do hear that parts of the A31 are closed, so Bernie needs to check it out in the morning.

Nah Vic, Hampshire people are fine, they only eat babies north of Watford :-)

If you're away for a day and a half, make sure that Grace will be OK, yes?

I've made sure of that, Grace has lots of food, water and Her automatic litter box has been serviced.

Good man Vic, I would have expected nothing less :-)

Meanwhile, those in the rural Northeast appear to have certain traditional practices curtailed by the inclement weather. I dunno mutter mutter, there goes the neighbourhood mutter mutter .....

Sounds like It's keeping the barbarians inside for a while at least.

Sounds like a very good idea, but you are not winning.
