You're all wrong!

OK. Most of you don't know that I was big into backpacking back in the day. I've scribbled a number together that I think was the number of miles that I've backpacked. Smokies, Adirondack mountains, Zion, and Big Bend National Park. Some of them twice.

How many miles have I backpacked? Nearest to my guess gets nothing! <-- 'cept for this kiss and some flowers.

I'll give this till tomorrow after work. I see one guess in particular, that's very close. But it might just tie with another.

So guess away. You may be the proud owner of NOTHING.

We've actually got a tie here. And I've got no clue how to handle it, other than to let the contest go on.

I was all ready to call a winner, and now I've gotten two guesses exactly either side of the answer by the same amount!

I've got to get to bed early tonight for sleep before an early shift at work. I'm going to lie, and say tomorrow after work shall be my final vote. Hopefully someone will nail it in between the two answers I think are the winners.

Gads, you guys!! Can't anyone go a .5 mile? That would have helped!

Not waiting for James, to respond in a like amount downward.

I'm going to call Victor as the Victor!

According to my half correct meter, the answer was 1275 miles, which put James and Victor half-way one either side. But with Vic's astute answer put him a half mile closer.

I'll send Vic a quick PM, and it's his win!

Thank You Dune.

I just guessed in the right direction.

Now I have two Questions that concerns Sci-Fi trivia from Battlestar Galactica 1980:

How many Cylons walked the Earth?

And who invented Human looking Cylons first, Glen Larsons production of Battlestar Galactica 1980 or the Battlestar Galactica Miniseries?

If someone thinks that I'm joking, I could always get the camera out and play the DVD to the right scene in "The Night The Cylons Landed Part II" and take a picture.
