Personal background
Born August 1972 in West Germany, Ruhrzone. Finished school with highest possible marks in both biology and mathematics. Studied biology with focus on biomathematics at the University of Konstanz. Went on to do an interdisciplinary biology/mathematics doctorate. Moved to Northwest England autumn 2002. Moving back to Germany autumn 2010.

Bilingual german/spanish.

And as for the nick, nothing to do with dutch 'Miep'. English pronounciation 'meep' - like the sound a small chick does. Just think of the Roadrunner 'meep meep'.

The probability of intelligent life is none-zero - after all there is us. So in an almost infinite universe there have to be more.
So I'm helping a bit to try and find them and we will at some point - if they want to be found.
