Got exactly the amount of SETI MB, even quite well balanced, VLAR's, 'normal'(0.30-<1.0) and VHAR's.
Since all the 'climate related disasters', hooked a second host up to CPDN.
Just suspend network between tuesday 20:00 GMT(+2) and friday 06:00.
But found out SETI was up, earlier.

Yes and since it has opened the forums were closed for awhile with thinman closing down for a bit. So will just wait again and see what occurs later?

Hmm.. very quiet here..

I'm the only one who noticed that the 'WU limit in progress' which Jeff mentioned here isn't active?

It's look like my BOINC DL the adjusted WU cache.

Yes, I noticed that too now. I've got more than the limit, and I keep getting more.

Me too, I could have said this: Limit? What Limit? ;)

I am very close to a full load! I am very happy as I won't have to babysit my rig on Monday night. Piggy is still downloading, but not asking for new tasks. This is excellent!

Oh yeah, Piggy does fit here too, 950 WU's just for one card, I had to put the other out of My misery and to avoid another BSOD.

When I ran the 295, it would reset the video driver, and often either reboot the system, or BSOD it. It did do better on standard apps.

That may have been my problem. I tried every version available at the time, but the new series seem much better. The two 480's I'm using are rock solid, and producing a lot of work. At the moment I have no complaints.

Uh-Oh! All AP splitters are down and according to Jeff

Astropulse is back on line and that should ease the raw data consumption rate. Without AP running SAH tears through the data such that keeping the splitters fed over the weekend becomes a challenge.

...and Matt

Jeff's going to put some newly compiled Astropulse back end services on line tomorrow. Hopefully that's all good or else we'll likely run out of work over the weekend

...we might expect some problems soon.

Who the hell is General Failure and why is he reading my harddisk?¿

Thankfully the driver I use is 257.15 and only 257.15, As to the app, It's lets say different. The BSOD I can only say was related to the BFG as It had done that before, Plus put multicolored random junk on screen or even just lock everything up hard, I moved the BFG to the 4x slot and It minimized It, But since I extracted the dual pcb BFG card, I've had no problems so far, Of course I did raise some fsb settings in the Bios afterwards that help with My PCs memory. But at least in November I may have enough for another EVGA or one like It from MSI, PNY, XFX, Asus, Gigabyte, etc. Right now the BFG isn't even worth selling, As I don't feel comfortable selling It, If It ran 2D alright maybe, But It doesn't.

Message 1025300 - Posted: 15 Aug 2010, 14:26:45 UTC - in response to Message 1024188.

Well all but my Vista POS will get through this outage again though the POS will likely run out again on the last day again some time as usual.

OK I finally figured out what was going on here.

For some reason since updating BOINC from 6:10:18 to 6:10:56 (just before these 3 day outages) this Vista pc wasn't picking up my universal computing preferences so I was only getting a 3 day cache instead (which only lasted 2 days) so I had to manually change it locally back to 10 days.

So the big question would have to be why Vista didn't/doesn't do this but my XP ones do? (or is it just some type of Vista/6:10:56 problem).

Cheers.

I'm not but I am getting plenty of work right now on 1 pc building up an extra 7 days back into its cache that it has been lacking lately.

Cheers.

No problems here.

You get this message only at one PC?

This is a Linux OS PC, right?
The other PCs/OSs have no problems?

Nice that you could again fill up your WU cache.

24/7 SETI@home calculation is a nice feeling, right? ;-)
