I re-created this thread since #VI got too large for the dial-upers. Everyone is welcome to this thread and welcome to post. All I ask is that you follow the guidelines I have set for this thread, we need to keep the dial-upers in mind. Enjoy.... (-:<
SETI/BOINC MILESTONE THREAD GUIDELINES:
01. You must be a current, active participant in the science of this project to post milestone messages.
02. This thread is for announcements of milestones for any BOINC project.
03. This thread will allow helping new users only if related to SETI/BOINC.
04. This thread will not allow milestones not related to SETI/BOINC or other BOINC projects.
05. This thread will not allow flaming any other users. [See this thread.]
06. This thread will not allow any profanity.
07. This thread will not allow 'stretching': no imbedded images and while quoting a post with a very long URL in it, fix it if you know BBCode, otherwise delete it or place spaces in it to break it up so it will wrap properly. Another option is to use http://tinyurl.com/ to create a new link. If you must include an image in your post, create a link to it, no thumbnails. Signature images are allowed.
HINTS FOR DIALUP USERS:
You can update your preferences in your account. Edit your "Forum preferences":
01. Set "Show images as links". This will also create a link for images in signatures, but will not hide avatars.
02. Set "Hide avatar images". All you will see is the username and stats.
03. Set "Hide signatures". Some signatures have useful information, links to related sites and such and witty quotes. If you set #1 above, you will still see the information, but any images would be loaded as a link. If you set this, there will be no signatures displayed.
This new thread replaces: [VI], [V], [IV], [III], [II], [I], [Beta].

GO HERE
Type the number 25311 into the box near the bottom of the screen next to "Userid (For instance: 123456789)". Click the button that says "Add user to filter". You're done! It was that easy! :-)

Once again things are being said that make no real difference... In most cases they are being said by people that have nothing constructive to add..
Some of those people have chased off one of the largest contributor$ to Seti BOINC...

Finally made it past 200k SETI. Getting things back in order so my RAC should stop falling like a rock finally.
Looks like the team as a whole is going to make the Goal of 275k before the end of April as well.

Only if you're mixing notation, and I wrote x0, not X0. In mathematics, x is the unknown quantity, and in Roman numerals there is no 0. But thanks for the congrats anyway! 8-)
