Ive popped in several times, its even quieter than the one i had on our SETI RGS website, now taken down it was hopeless. That and the message forum which got two messages in three months.

On a daily basis we do get a couple of people stop by...but yes otherwise quiet. Hence our promotion of a "regular" night. Our last one we had about 15 or so people there at one time. It was quite entertaining. We do expect a bigger turnout this time. All are welcome to stop by!

Yes, thank you and happy new year. It was almost as good as last year. I missed a couple of persons last night.

I'm always sentimental on new years eve and night. :'-(

Well, I will have to give that some serious thought. After the way I got treated, near the end, last week? Hmmmm.... Impersonating myself, now there's a concept not thought of before.

As for the IP address comment, there's only one way, I can think of, that could allow 2 users with the same IP. I have 2 PCs connected to the Internet through my router which has assigned a unique IP address to each PC. Both PCs will connect to the Internet through my ISP assigned IP address, which is the IP address that is seen beyond my router [PC IPs not seen beyond router except by me]. If I were to join chat with both PCs and different usernames, I can see the possibility of 2 users with the same IP address. I really am not sure that this could be done, but it sounds logical to me. WW was not me, I was myself.... (-:<

i believe you siran, i had doubts at first, but its all good. And multiple pc's thru a router to join the chat would be one way of having the same IP as another user, or using multiple browsers(such as IE and Firefox) at the same time. Maybe i shouldnt let that secret out of the bag, but yeah, its possible. Project and I were both on my computer for that chat last week, taking turns at sitting at it. Thats how we discovered that because it was a practical use for us.

I was in on the inaugural chat two weeks ago, but missed last week's chat. I'll be there tonight, though. Should be very interesting, with a lot of people planning to attend.

Ok, maybe I'll show up tonight [AS ME], but it will all depend on how the day progresses. I have a few things to do today, but will make it a point to try to stop by for a bit. And, only on my XP box since I don't have a chat plugin for my *nix box. (-:<
