With over 1,000,000 RTS WU's I was just wondering why I would get a response: Server has no work available? This has not been happening that I know of but I just happened to see it happen on this computer: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=7226971 EDIT: It is happening on all my computers it seems. The actual feed is a very small buffer (100 WU), if this empties just before you make your request you will get that message. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

It was just that three of my computers were getting nothing at the same time. I see that now they have started to fill again. False worry. SETI@home classic workunits 4,019 SETI@home classic CPU time 34,348 hours |

With over 1,000,000 RTS WU's I was just wondering why I would get a response: Server has no work available? "Project has no tasks available" is also the response for a GPU work request when only VLARs are available in the feeder at the time. Grant Darwin NT |

So not so good to use '-v 0' in cmdline? stderr.txt is usually only a few KB big (-v 0 don't change the size of any other file) If stderr.txt go over 64 KB (on disk) (e.g. because of too many restarts) - only the last 64 KB are sent to server A few KB + (when using the default -v 1) "is insignificant next to the power of the Force" ;) (the today's Internet traffic/speed) Â - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :) Â |

So back up after a fairly long outage, but splitters are down. Haven't found any news posted. Did I miss it? |

Today's outrage started a bit early and came back late and in an unusual move they turned off the upload server during the outrage. I wait with baited breath to see what they broke. |

It would appear, enough. Science database is down, which is probably why the Assimilators & Splitters are all still down. No new work for now. Grant Darwin NT |

Stuck splitters? I swear 3 tapes have been stuck at 14 channels for more than 12 hours: 02ap11aa 02my11ab 30my11aa I don't know if anyone here can look at them or not ... being Christmas, maybe latter today. |

Stuck splitters? With it being Christmas let em stay stuck , world won't end and they have probably got family's they would rather spend their time with today than sorting out the splitters |

Stuck splitters? And I imagine that's why the SSP says there are 10 splitters running, rather than the 7 that actually exist. Doesn't seem to be hurting anything. Seems we're getting in the high 30's/sec. |

How much longer will my rac be in freefall. It's not going in a good direction. |

How much longer will my rac be in freefall. It's not going in a good direction. Why is it falling? Figure that out then you will have some idea when it will recover. Grant Darwin NT |
