Angela, In your situation with regards your relationship with Eric you are allowed to be biased. Indeed I'd be worried if you weren't. But I have to agree with you that the stile he has adopted for use in the HP is very good. I can't comment on his habit of getting ill while on your short break, but has he considered it to be withdrawal symptoms from your wonderful home cooking? Perhaps, but it is equally possible that the "experimental pasta" I served him last weekend was the inspiration for his comment about evidence based cooking. Sooo, what's with the barista that hits on him every morning? :P You mean the one from his dreams? I've met her. She's lovely. ...But I bet he could not sort his own laundry! Sorry Chris. Esme got it exactly right. He obviously has the same problems that this poor guy has. Esme, I can see that you understand completely what my poor persecuted and besieged husband is faced with every day. And girlfriend, let me tell you it is not just about the unwanted female attention lavished on him by waitresses, store clerks and baristas. The women professionals are just as bad! I mean, does the sexy woman veterinarian REALLY want or need to know all the details of Eric's last trip to Korea?!!! And then there was the time poor Eric got pneumonia and the sexy woman pulmonologist was so very impressed with the size of his... lungs. And girlfriend, don't even get me started about the sexy woman dentist who just wants my husband to relax in her chair!!!!!!!!! They're everywhere, I tell you, and all of them want him.... Poor Eric.
