There was an easier approximative calculation formula somewhere - like substract 30 and then halve..

You are quite right, but it only really works for mid range daily temperatures

F to C = -30, then halve

C to F = double it, then add 30

p.s. We drive on the correct side of the road as well

We drive on the right side of the road.

Greetings dudes and dudettes :-)

My friend's deb was last night....

She just looks lovely, and I think my dress was equal or better than another girl's (in terms of quality appearance)...

I agree with Chris S, the other dress has that "off the rack" appearance. Yours is much better fitting. I like the extra little trimmings you added too. The silver over the shoulder, the long white gloves and the little flower thing with the ribbons. (Or did she sit on someones corsage? If her boyfriend gave her that I bet he had fun pinning it on! :-) )

Magenta, it's exquisite! Worthy of any high-fashion catwalk.
Your creation is far superior to the other dress.

She is certainly very creative, Julie, for both the dyeing and the garment designs ... and very handy manufacturing the garments

Thanks for the eye, Magenta

I am OK with the design - plain, sweeping, elegant, and the bust, but I think you should let out the waist and hips. The waist might be double the hip measurement.

Anybody else wants a 'Pharisaeer'?

For the non-germans: strong coffee, rum and a topping of cream so you wouldn't smell the alcohol...
