Sure Andy, Not a problem:). But snow in Egypt? Who'd want that? ;)

Nooooo! You misunderstand. I am going to Egypt to escape the cold that has gripped the UK for the last month. It is currently forecast to be very snowy again at around the time I am due to fly out. If it snows heavily the planes won't fly and I'll be stuck in the UK for Christmas - a depressing thought, believe me!

Winning between the snow lying on the ground.

Clear up here ATM, but more snow forecast for Thursday/Friday. I must say all the smow that fell caused no problems in any shape of form to moving around. Indeed off roading to take the dogs for a walk was a doddle.
It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

Bristol airport was shut for days, as was Gatwick, Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds/Bradford etc etc?!

I wish we'd have rain. But I'll have to settle for what we've got for the win!

Considering how rare snow is in that part of the world, I wouldn't worry too much, Heck I went to Disneyland back on the 6th and I was worried the day would be ruined by rain, It did rain on the evening of the 5th though, But the 6th was clean, crisp, cool and clear of any rain, a perfect niw. Enjoy the Pyramids and the Spinx Andy.

It does, however, snow in England upon occasion. It really does not matter at which end of the trip the airport is closed. It still ruins the trip.

Unless one is not going in that direction or can go around.

It all depends on where the airplane is coming from. If the airplane you are taking from Miami to Hawaii is stuck in a blizzard in Detroit...

I'll watch the moon wax and WANE. I'll chat with WYNE, WAYNE and JUAN. I'll WHINE and look weak and WAN. I'll WEAN myself off of WINE. I'll look at ONE more hay WAIN, but WHEN it comes to saying that particular requested word well... I guess I'm just feeling a bit contrary tonight!
