New servers? we're getting new servers? Is there something wrong with the old ones? :-)

Oscar is a done deal.......13k in donations........

The rest is up to those who I have made it possible.

Their call now.

I got a little pissy in the donations thread, and it was closed on my ass.

But there was close to 20k of donations between my cheeks.

I think this was a fine effort. Thanks to you all who gave their kibbles.

I and others counted in the Emergency Fund thread $5420 in donations to help replace Mork. Not a bad effort, Yer quite the Fund Raiser here. Congrats. :D

As the other thread was locked (at least temporarily) I'll post here. Last total of donations I came up with was $5,420, before mine.

Thank you for your gift of $30.00 via Visa on 10/08/2010.
Your gift was assigned to the following areas:

SETI@home - $30.00

Your confirmation number is:
63489

Mark might have to start up a drive for the Server Graphs. They look funny.... they all have lines on them, and the the lines are curvy.

well my cpu's are back to work. GPU's.. not yet.

Edit: interesting, I was not requesting GPU tasks until I manually hit the update button.

Maybe somebody can suggest some sort of stress-test or CPU speed test freeware?

This is a good one that I found a while back. Jam Software - Heavy Load. They're the same ones that make TreeSize.

Also, I woke up this morning to find that I am the proud owner of 18 new APs. I'm covered for nearly two full weeks now.

I was assigned 31 AP's some hours ago. Most of them resends _2 to _5. That'll keep my Quad 8200 busy for about 5 or 6 days.

Edit: Well, they're not downloaded yet, so technically I don't really have them onboard :-)

All of mine were 0's and 1's. They take 23-26 hours per core, on a 2p dual-core system.

Maybe i was a littlebit optimistic as i told:

When the replica DB comes back online and catches up you'll see your results..

... or the Seti-stuff have to run some of their famous "special" scripts to recover the WUs from the 30.September-blackhole. My complete reportings from 30.09. (~160 WUs) are not listed yet. :-(
If they will have a minute or two they will sort it out for shure.

__W__

just discovered 10 of my 30.09. reported WUs in the error status list as "timed out" - and no sign of the rest of the 160 reported WUs from 30.09. :-(
It seems that their is something lost at the last crash/outage.

Download Server 2 - Vader has been disabled

no change on cricket graphs yet

anybody know why or do you think its just a glitch - hope so :)

only have the odd one or two downloads per hour now and they still work ok - actually they are generally very quick 20k+ speed

[edit]

lol - forget that its back up now - reboot???

well this is the panic thread :)

For CPU - IntelBurnTest - Works for AMD cpus, too.

For GPU - Furmark

This two generate the most heat, as i know.
