Is something up with the credits? Now my I7 hit 51,000 after being around 44,000-45,000 RAC for months.

Greetings Hiamps,

You're getting 44K-50K+ RAC from a single i7 PC? I just re-enabled HT on my i7 and it's barely at 4.4K. I'm also using TThrottle to regulate the temp. I'm running an i7-860, what are you running? Oh, and I built my i7 with ALL new parts except case and PSU.

I quit running CUDA because my card is not up to the task. It slows my display way down too much.

Keep on BOINCing...! :)

Greetings Perry,

Ok. He's running 4 CPUs and 3 GPUs. I'm running 8 CPUs.
My CPU is slightly faster than his.
His OS is 64 bit, mine, 32 bit.
His FP and Int speeds are greater than mine.

Other than the above, everything else is virtually identical. The only thing I see, that I could do is upgrade my OS from 32 to 64 bit. The only other thing I can see that would give him that great an advantage is the power of his GPUs. Although, except that it would be logical to believe he is, there is no indication that he is running CUDA.

It seems to me that mine should be at least 50% what his is, in regards to RAC. Perhaps I should find me a 64 bit version of XP Pro. I always wait a year or 2 before I upgrade to a new OS, such as Win7. I ran WinME for about 2 years after XP came out, before upgrading.

Keep on BOINCing...! :)

Hi Friend,
My I7 is overclocked to 3.8 and each of my video cards are overclocked. I normally run 3 CPU and 3 GPU. Almost all of my parts are refurbished but I seemed to get lucky as they work well together and have been stable with overclocks for months.
