And then it came and just finished drenching me.

That means that Flagstaff is probably getting snowed on right now.

I wish you guys out west would have wrung the clouds out a little better. Now that the wet stuff is getting here it's turning solid. Predicting 0.10 - 0.25 inch of ice accumulation with tree limb damage and power outages anticipated. Of course all the body shops in the area can't wait for "amateur hour" to start out there on the slick roads.

Oh yeah... they have new signs up at the city limits...

We did our best but we are already risking mud slides. The water outside our condo was about 2 inches deep and the last time that happened the drains were packed with mud. They are projecting another batch for tomorrow about noon and we don't want to be to greedy and take it all.

All We got was lots of rain, No mud here, But We're not the ones worry about mudslides that are a result of a teenage arsonist, So We're pretty lucky out here. Of course It's cold and damp out there and I can feel It in here.

Well, saddle pals, our big ice storm turned into a non-event... sort of. We got the rain, a little over a quarter inch, but the temperature hovered right at, or just above freezing, so the ice accumulations were no where near as severe as forecast. But shortly after getting home at about 4 this morning I heard an extremely loud crash. As it turns out the liquid rain served to loosen up the snow that had accumulated on the roof of the house letting it slide down onto the roof of the deck in the back. With the snow already on the deck roof the additional weight of the snow that slid off the house roof in 2 and 3 foot square slabs proved too much. Even though the deck has(d) four 4x4's with 2x6's staggered between them supporting the roof, they snapped and splintered like plastic. So now I gots one mell of a hess back there. We're about to find out if I'm really "in good hands". I'll try to post some photos of the mayhem later on.

Hi all.

Had two warm days this week hitting 42C the past few days have been milder with today around 28C rising to 36C on Saturday, finding it hard to keep my rigs below cool on the warmer days but they are tough.

Stay happy and keep on crunching :)

It's raining outside and the CHP has announced that the Cajon Pass(I15 fwy) is now closed due to snow. My Sister in law and others will not like that, I hope She can find some lodging or something.
