Personal background
I am a mover of worlds when the situation dictates the need, I am lover not a fighter, I am the proud father of 4 wonderful children who I grow closer to every day, My lover and best friend is my wife of 25 years and each year with her makes me a better person.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Why do I run Seti? To play a small part in something that could prove to be bigger than all of us and I believe it will happen maybe not in my lifetime but it will happen we cannot be alone in the universe not with so many sun's lighting our night sky.

Views of the project, The simplest ideas are almost always the best, to come up with the idea of using global idle computer time (home users) rather than having to fund and build a computer to handle the data was brilliant, without it I would not have had the opportunity to be writing this profile and not met so many wonderful people or joined a team (Team Carl Sagan Thanks to Byron Leigh Hatch), voiced opinions, asked for information and help and received it in abundance from people all over the world, this is a truly global and wonderful effort.
The concept is sound and I am learning more of the science side of the project all the time, online education! Thanks and hats off to the team at Berkeley.

Any suggestions, Free daily coffee and full weekly body massages to the Berkeley team that makes this project happen and keeps it running, hats off to you guys :)
