Here's something really neat! A woman who spins dog hair into yarn and clothing! Her FAQ also mentions Kitty hair so people who have an abundance of furchildren might find this kind of cool. http://www.designerdogyarn.com/index.html We brush handfuls of fur out of our babies every week so I wonder what we could get....this really interests me. Mean Kitty versus himself My little princes does the same, sometimes I think that she's not even aware of that her tail is a part of herself, she seems to think it has an existence of it's own, and she gets so angry at that tail sometimes. And she has been really hard to her tail, I once had her to the vet because she had bitten and clawed the tip of her tail too much. He said I had to stop her when she's going too crazy on her tail, if it gets infected it might end with an amputation! I really love those Mean Kitty videos, Sparta is such a cute cat. :-) "I'm trying to maintain a shred of dignity in this world." - Me

Thank you to all who have kept the thread warm whilst the kitties were away...... And to repost the kitty poem I birthed while in hiding...... Where The Kitties Still Play... A Kitty poem/song by msattler for my friends at Seti...... I can see this sung by the Dixie Chicks.....LOL. Their harmony would fit it well....or maybe Peter, Paul, and Mary...back in the '60s where they and I came from...... 'Where The Kitties Still Play'.... I have my good days, and they come often enough, and when they do I am happy to share it. But when the bad days come through and things get hard to do.... I have a secret place that helps me to bear it. There is a place that I go... that only there can I know. And it helps chase the bad days away. For I know I can visit my own special place, and my fears it helps chase. I just go where the kitties still play. "For I have chosen to stay where the kitties still play so my heart does not always just roam. And I continue to pray that maybe some day all the kitties have a place to call home." The world is a boil with such turmoil and pain, not so much for myself as for others. Hatred and war are such terrible things, the follies of kings. And love and compassion soon smother. The kitties are all well at the moment. Artemis especially seems to have gained a new sense of gusto with life, and none of them seemed to have been upset by the furniture rearranging we had to do while we were decorating the front room. Apollo continues to outgrow his litter-mates, while Loki continues to be by far the most mischievous! Keegan, however, seems to be taking a few leaves from his book... And welcome back, Mark!
