This month marks that my mom has now been 8 months smoke free. After her last hospitalization, she has not touched a cigarrette (probably spelled wrong, sorry). My mom quit cold turkey, didn't really have much of a choice. But she definately can tell the difference though. I hope you continue to be strong Mark, and succeed in quitting. I'd hate to see anyone who smokes wind up in the condition my mom did. It definately was a scary time, I thought with how bad my mom was that she wouldn't pull through. ID: 774117 ·

If you're suffering a bit, try going for a brisk walk or get yourself engrosed into something thoughtfully interesting. Next you'll be needing to do a thorough clean-up to get rid of the lingering stale smells as your own sense of smell and taste come back.
