Dan, you should get your facts straight too. I opened a thread called "Rocky's Coffee Club" a year ago, which was removed by a former moderator. True, Rocky's Coffee Club II was opened when CA was not around, but he and I discussed it and he agreed that no one has exclusive rights to the name Rocky's. My motive for opening that thread was that some people are not treated well in the other Rocky's thread(s). I also said then that if the other Rocky's was more accommodating, I would close my thread--but it isn't and so I have not. Just recently CA and I revisited these issues and I repeated my position.

Dan and Chris S, I have no problem with using Rocky's name in the title of this thread. In fact, it is good that you agree with me that no one has exclusive rights to Rocky's name. If that makes me Chris S's "permanent enemy", that is his choice.

Perhaps some of those who were not treated well may have done something to earn any scorn they may have perceived...In fact...another person currently in authority made it a point to jab at CA with an image she knew would remind him of an unfortunate incident that occurred when we were still all together and friendly with one another...If that person feels unwelcome perhaps that feeling has been earned...

There are still reverberations of many things that should have been forgotten...but have not been...and likely will not be...Because there are some who are clinging to this bitterness like a lifeboat...and are using it to punish those who have made them feel unwelcome in the past.

Having said all that...I hope that i am wrong...and that we somehow can find a way to start over...without bitterness...without rancor...and with short memories of the fighting of the past...and long memories of the good times we have shared together...It is because of the memories of those good times that i cling to the hope that we may someday turn this bloodstained page...and move on to the next chapter...The story can turn if we really want it too...Because we are all writing the book.

No...It hasn't crossed my mind...But I do think that the RED X may have become your personal "windmill" for a more personal reason...Perhaps you've been the victim of a RED X and you simply didn't like it...

There are moderators and various mechanisms for complaints in just about every forum you visit...It is preferred by management that you use that mechanism for complaints...
