Don't PM me because officially I now have no right to privacy.

I never wanted to terrorize or have no civil rights but Berkeley University has not removed the accusation that I terrorise from one of their moderators. So here I am carrying the label they gave me..

To the moderator and poster 'Pappa' all I can say is that I am truelly sorry.

We were argueing about "punishment" and I disagreed and said I think hitting or getting physical with children was not right. You disagreed with me as is your right. You then publically asked me if I was abused as a child as a way to fight my arguement.

The truth is Pappa that I was abused.

I watched with horror as my sister and both of my step brothers and me were lined up and my mother heated a spatula on the bars of an electric fire. I watched in terror as my brothers and sisters had the spatula was placed upon each of their tongues and then upon mine.

I never wanted to live my pain in public but neither you nor any other SETI mod or admin have removed your public posting of my private message to you so where else can I now go?

You think you discovered something about me but if you spoke to any of the people I see as friends on these forums I bet they already knew I was imperfect. They just had the faith and good grace not to make me unfortunate in public.


This is my shame. I now give it to you.


Sometimes people are not nice and sometimes they are very bad but I never found a creature that I could not have seen part of my humanity in.

I rose above the abuse that happened to me.

I still believe that to 'punish' is to exact some sort of revenge.

I would rather teach and when I can not teach I will try hard to both share and protect.

As a SETI moderator Pappa you should understand this.



The SETI mods and admins are behind a keyboard but are human for sure. I never abused you Pappa. I never posted your PMs to me and did not make public anything you ever told me in confidence.


I hope I never used my emotions to hammer you down.

I will be a terroist in your mind if you want.

I just wanted to be me and however hard I search I can't see a terrorist in my heart.

I am sorry you don't like me Pappa.

It took just one word from a moderator for me to be labelled so.

I would say that was less than a nano cortical second.

I messaged and waited to see if the admins or mods would remove this accusation. It never happened.

I decided if someone wants to give me a label I should accept that that is how some people want to see me.

I find myself appologising a lot of late.

You have nothing to apologise for. I am sure Pappa is regretful about words that were said and things that were done in the heat of the moment and did not understand where they could lead. Hopefully lessons have been learned from this.
I myself am glad that you chose not to go.

@Rush: I am not sure what you meant by your comments..but if someone chooses to return who we thought we had lost, then surely that is a good thing? I am just glad something happened to make him change his mind.

There is no need to feel any shame, the shame lies with the insensitivity of certain people here, we are all real people who feel the same emotions online as we do in real life.

I'm not sure why you would ever think we had "lost" anyone. Overwhelmingly, they're back within a few hours, or at most a day or two, often after a long, overly-dramatic, "I am so the hell outta here!" post. Frankly, I not sure if that's long enough to really have "left" in the first place.
