I would recommend a Beretta .25 caliber auto pistol.

Absolutely, without a doubt, the .25 was the worst caliber ever conceived by man...

I'd recommend the .32 Tomcat, or even the .22 LR Bobcat over that heap of junk... ;)

An official Disney collectable...

Cool..

My Popeye collectable just stands there and tries to eat spinach (the crapest food ever) and my Mini Mouse makes looking cute a swear word.

I might just shoot them both..

Disney loves killing.. No guns now but big blasts of power shooting from jands..

(My kids read this thread then fell asleep bored... Sorry kids.. I'll buy you a weapon tommorow... Promise... :))

The posting of 'rules' from someone who can't seem to follow 'rules' is quite amusing... ;)

Then again, maybe I'm just 'mentally deranged'... But at least I'm not a 'habitual stalker'... ;)

Which is exactly why you stalk alot of my posts...I am happy to feed your desires, which after all is what you want, so how could I possibly not be following the rules in your case; you thrive on it.

Leave me alone, and I shall do the same...you just don't seem to get it.

The cost of the permit for fully auto isn't the main issue...
before you get that permit, you have to have a serious background check made, much stricter than just buying a normal gun, and as far as I know you have to be a have a seperate permit for collecting or dealing firearms first, that's a lot of paperwork and a lot of money by itself.

It is leagal to buy certain guns, and it is leagal to buy certain kits that make certain guns fully auto. You can't walk out of the store with both of them at the same time, and you wouldn't want to put it up in the gunrack of your pickup truck for the world to see. You would also want to be careful about where you took it shooting, because automatic fire has a very distinct sound to it and if forest ranger or someone came up to ask questions they wouldn't believe your finger was pulling the trigger that fast and consistantly.

Suposedly there are gunsmiths out there willing to make changes, and possibly plans on the internet to add or take away some part to increase your rate of fire.

I don't suggest you do any of these things, I highly doubt anyone "needs" an asault rifle or fully auto handgun. I will raise the BS flag on anyone who claims home defense as a reason for full auto. They are good for fun and impressing people, but I don't think there is a "valid" reason for a civilian to own one.
To me, automatic weapons are kinda like cuban cigars. I could probably get some if I really wanted, but it wouldn't be cheap, I couldn't get them on short notice, and NO I can't get you any. Plus I've tried them and they're overrated.

Maybe there are no real rules!

Someone stole my pictures in this thread. Whose rules were they.. Certainly not my cultures.

I am a nice vegetarian anti-gun, anti-violence, anti-escalation creature..

I'm very perfect but even I don't know if rules exist..

It's rather frightening.

Then some local mad creature shoots at you.

Then it's just sad..

Or..

It's a them thing..

Even if I hate it..

They can be quite naughty sometimes..

Grrrr...

"Gun ownership - right or wrong??"

No no.. I don't want a nuke..

(oh me.. )

All I wanted to say is that it is too easy to kill someone (or even yourself) by simply pulling a trigger. If you had to do it by any other means there would be many less homicides and suicides. Japan is a proof of this idea. No gun ownership allowed in Japan.

My buddy says you have to be a Dealer to get a fully automatic permit and it is $250.00 per year. Whether you actually have one or not, you pay the money. You can of course chose to not get one this year but when you do want one, the background check kicks in again. It is a Federal background check, not a local one. Meaning much more detailed.

The FFL (Federal Firearms License) costs $200 initially and $30 per year annual renewal. You have to fill out a bazillion forms for the BATFE to get it. It's a dealer's license. It does not give you the right to own automatic weapons. Just the right to purchase for resale.

The license to own an automatic weapon is completely different. It is also gotten from BATFE after filling out a zillion forms.

Then:

  • You must be a U.S. citizen over 21 years of age.

  • You must live in a state that allows Class 3 weapons(check with your state govt.).

  • You must be clear of any felonies as verified by an F.B.I. background check.

  • You must submit a fingerprint card and two passport photos, which are kept on file by the BATF.

  • You must obtain a signature from your local Chief Law Enforcement Officer verifying that you have no felony indictments pending against you, and are mentally stable.

  • You must pay a one-time federal tax for each NFA weapon or suppressor purchased. Full auto $200.00. Short Barreled Rife (SBR) $200.00. Suppressor $200.00. Any Other Weapon (AOW) $5.00.

That's all there is to it.

Wynde uses a lot of words I dont know. Forest ranger? Pickup ? I grew up in the Mojave desert and now live at the beach. Would life guards cause me problems ? And my Viper ALREADY attracts enough police WITHOUT an automatic weapon in the read window.
