One of my heros is Srinivasa Aiyangar Ramanujan. (Ramanujan for short).. A superb mathamatician in 'infinite number series' and 'number theory'. Born to a poor mother in some small villiage in India his theories are still now being discovered to hold great value. Born a child under the British Raj he caught the eye of a tutor in one of our 'red brick' universities of the time.. Ended up dying of TB I believe yet left us a profound step forward. All this from someone who could hardly write. When he was asked where he got his ideas from he attributed them to his village godess... Me I just attribute him to being one of those crazy universal moments that gives birth to unique powers.. not sure which sounds the better. Ramanujan. God or Mister.. Who can tell?
