Here in the BOTD, we show respect for our favorite scientists. I nominate Euclid.

Cool.

One of my heros is Srinivasa Aiyangar Ramanujan. (Ramanujan for short)..

A superb mathamatician in 'infinite number series' and 'number theory'.

Born to a poor mother in some small villiage in India his theories are still now being discovered to hold great value.

Born a child under the British Raj he caught the eye of a tutor in one of our 'red brick' universities of the time.. Ended up dying of TB I believe yet left us a profound step forward.

All this from someone who could hardly write.

When he was asked where he got his ideas from he attributed them to his village godess... Me I just attribute him to being one of those crazy universal moments that gives birth to unique powers.. not sure which sounds the better.

Ramanujan. God or Mister.. Who can tell?

You know what goes on in here, thoughts have no place here. ;)

But here's your brain of the day...

That's bigger than my own brain.

I have been told I don't have one, or that if I do, it is really small and can not be seen. And then I lost it.

Never surrender and never give up. In the darkest hour there is always hope.

The brightest brain ever born. A brain that humbles us all who are stumbling in the brains fotpaths. And best of all, this brain is still pretty unknown to the greater audience.

Here's to the greatest mind of the last century!

Cheer's to Richard Philips Feynman!

That I think depends upon how god the AI is at kissing. Don't you agree?

And then comes the question, is it more terrible with an AI that is a good kisser than an AI that is a bad kisser?

Or might it be rather nice to spend an evening with an AI that is good-looking and a terrific kisser to boot?

Discuss!

Name: Esmé

Kenzie will certainly enjoy hearing from you. You and her have alot in common. Expect a PM within a couple of days Esmé!

Yes..someone mentioned her to me a few weeks ago saying we were quite similar!! I did wonder what they meant by that.

It's that both of you find my mind attractive, but for different reasons. ;)

Now why did the final scene of Hannibal spring to mind when you said that?

This thread has received a lot of views, but few suggestions regarding those scientists we'd like to honor.

How about today we dedicate the thread to the team of scientists at Berkeley?
