I am so disappointed nobody (not nObOdY) noticed I switched from iced coffee to iced tea. Well, I don't blame you, I have been gone quite a while.

Message 574283 - Posted: 23 May 2007, 8:29:25 UTC - in response to Message 573772.

Back from taking one of my girl shih-tzu's 100 miles down the road to an ophthalmic vet, as her left eye had ruptured. Going to be expensive to get it repaired, but she should be back in a few weeks.

Oh Gawd! I feel for you, John: the effort, the expense, the worry.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your little one there.

Here's hoping!

Thanks Beets.

We should know later today how she took the surgery. Soon I think.

I believe the surgery was 100% successful. But the eye was infected which reduces the success rate to about 65% to 70% to saving the eye.

We will see soon about her initial recovery, and when we can collect her!

I'll say a little prayer. Sometimes that's all we can do.

Carlos Sanchez and his faithful mule Conchita have noticed, alright. They've "retired" him for failing to hold on to your business. I hope you're happy now, you...you...Defector!

Humph!

Thanks Beets and Chris for the thoughts.

Apparently Corrie has fully recovered from the operation and is letting people examine her eye. She has also eaten her breakfast OK.

So, from this I am reading extremely good progress is the order of the day (so far).

We will know more tomorrow!

Wait no more, Dennis. Here you are, Guy! IV's okay, but it doesn't wet the whistle.
