...in two words...get CABLE. 10Mbs woowoo

Nice having fibre, if it is available. In the UK cable is only available where there is a concentration of people - cities, towns, market towns. I do not like living where everyone is in each others pockets, always looking at their neighbours and there is no place to go and be quiet.

The down side of this rural village idle is poor service for high speed comms!

I prefer the slower speeds and the rural quality of life.

Now winning without the help of a rabid Chow holding a hypodermic syringe!

No syringes, just antibiotic pills and extra strength decongestive.

John, us cable guys get the slow down blues too. It slows us down to your speed ;-p

Not a good combination John!!!

Essex, who the hell thought I lived in Essex? Thats for dumb blondes and dodgy car salesmen.

Sarf Lunnon mate, an proud of it!!!

What was up with the Internet today???? Couldn't get sweet FA outside the UK for hours.

I hereby prophesy that the WWW as we know it today will slow down by 50% over the next 5 years by sheer overuse. Want to take any bets???

Na Luton Boy ... does the airport keep you awake at night? Blame low cost operators, especially ones in orange!

BB speed seems OK now!

What's your brand tonight John? I have a bottle of Usquaebach winking at me from it's perch on the bar. The Dr. said one drink was acceptable. He then clarified, "TWO OUNCES!!"

What's a fluid ounce?

I use depth ... fingers of ... generally at least 3 fingers deep in the glass! (drunken sot!)

1. First or second knuckle?[/quote]

I hold my fingers out parallel to the top of the whiskey, then measure how many finger thicknesses I need to reach the bottom of the glass!

2. You can't spell!!!!!
