This has most probably been discusse before but is buried in an earlier thread, but what are your oppinions about the Roswell incident?

Actually, we haven't spoken much about the Roswell story.

From the things I have read, 99% of the incident has been explained. The only thing that doesn't quite jibe ( to me ) is the " bodies " that the military said were nothing more than crash test dummies. Problem is, the dummies they claim the " bodies " to be weren't used until the 50s.

Other than that, the explanation od the debris being that of a crashed Project Mogul balloon seems pretty reasonable.

I'd like to see other people's take on this though.

I'm going to Roswell in a week or two! To buff up a bit, I just read UFOs and the National Security State: Chronology of a Coverup, 1941-1973 by Richard M. Dolan. Maybe I can get followed by a black van around Area 51! I'd have to double check but I beleive that there was a report of a second ship at Roswell with a sighting of a live alien. My initial question was "why would there be two spacecraft?" Then on furthur reading, there was a report of a fisherman some where bewteen Baja and Hawaii. This fisherman saw a craft which appeared to be having trouble and it ejected some material from the center of the craft. A second craft moved in and assisted the first floundering craft. Some of the material ejected even hit the boat and injured his son. He supplied a box of the debris to the airforce personel after some exchanges. The box was being flown to a base and it "crashed" after the engines caught fire. This was followed by a second report of the time where the plane that was going to be used was observed to be tampered with and thus they were able to fix the problem before they flew in the plane.

From the perspective of a assisting craft, it seems reasonable that there would have been two craft and the first one which had technical difficulties might have compromised the second craft to the point of crashing.

From statements of a military man who was part of the clean up stated that he loaded odd materials onto the truck and brought it back. He went in to report that he had a load of the debris and after he got through the process and returned to the truck, the items that he had brought were missing from the truck and actually replace by items that were common to him.

If I'm not mistaken, didn't those stories about the second ship and the live bodies come into being several years AFTER the incident?

I know a lot of the story has changed over the years.

My ex-almost-father-in-law came from New Mexico, and he sent me a magazine about the Roswell incident, so maybe I should find it and read it again? I think I will.

No, I asked the question, because I was watching a programme on Discovery about aliens. Very amusing btw.

If you go down to the woods today
You're sure of a big surprise.
If you go down to the woods today
You'll never believe your eyes.

For every bear that ever there was
Will be gathered there for certain because,
Today's the day the teddy bears
Have their picnic.

I've heard that those bears belonged to a satanic cult...and performed satanic rituals over their owners while they slept.

This could explain your reaper avatar!!!!

It's funny you should say that. I had a small blue bear as a child. I don't know why I was so afraid of it. It gave me a nightmare one night. The thing grew in size and came alive. I woke up screaming. I'm surprised my mother didn't throw it out.
