I have two boys (well, one is an Army Special Forces Sgt. and the other works as an NTSB agent at DFW) and one 9 year old girl (HAPPY SURPRISE!).
I am a long time fan of science fiction and an eternal optimist.
I work as a Control Systems engineer, mostly in semiconductor plants.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home in the belief that there ARE others to discover and we will never find them if we don't look. The SETI@home project is one of the few ways that regular people can contribute that gives an "immediate gratification" reward. Yes, I am addicted to monitoring my total and avg.
I also hope to someday organize a convention in Albuquerque so that I can meet and talk to my fellow SETI@home and SETI.USA team members.
