O.K. now what fo we have to do to get our sigs back? Click on this to see the BBCode information. Most HTML tags can be ported to BBCode pretty easily, except for Javascript and the like. Just change your signature to use BBCode instead of HTML. That un-scriptability is what makes BBCode safer. The lack of zillions of parameters makes it easier for end-users unfamiliar with raw HTML. I discussed it with Janus and David. We pretty much came to the conclusion that it wasn't worth the downtime necessary to convert posts over, especially considering the very long warning that this change was coming. Heck, it was probably close to a month ago I wrote the HTML-disabling code in the first place (and tested it on the Break My Forums site). Rob ID: 164511 ·
