Now that transfers are working again, and WUs are being created and sent out, and the new version looks like it's almost ready to be put live, how about these?

Both these are stuck in Pending status.

Other people, please post anything from 31-Jan-05 and before.

Can someone point out what I messed up on the tags?

Well a bit of persistence does wonders. I hope.
Let's try this again.

Here's mine (corrected)from 2 different hosts. Both are from August 04

It would be nice if the hosts table were purged periodically too, say every 6 months. Any host not contacting the server in a six month period could be removed automatically by the servers to keep the databases clean.

I have one result and 5 work units that have been hanging around since August of 2005. I love these guy's and hope they stay with me forever. Maybe some day I can win a contest for the oldest work unit still on record.

Seriously is there anyone I can ask, bribe or whatever to have these removed? I have 2 inactive computers I would like to remove but can't because of this lingering problem.

On a related note: What's the point in having restrictions about which hosts can be merged?

I could easily get rid of my remaining dead hosts by merging them with active ones, but I'm not allowed to do this.

Regards Hans

Ok....since it is apparantly impossible to remove these old results and work units from the data base....

Can someone from Berkeley explaine why it's impossible????
