Now may be a good time to go to DSL Reports or PC Pitstop. They both have tools that will check your machine to see if it is set correctly for broadband. ID: 136059 ·

Or for any worms/viruses/other nasties. Check what is taking up your CPU. If it is only the Seti unit, you may have a slightly different unit. Slightly longer one. ID: 136150 ·

Try and use a couple, if you can AdAware is a good second tool. Avoid IE, Outlook and Outlook Express. Try and use Firefox, Opera, or other 3rd party browser and e-mail programs. I also found a great pop-up/ad blocker called Proxomitron, but it no longer is supported.
