I have been alive, the nearest I can estimate, about 450 million years. I base that on the oldest living life estimates on earth. I was born back in the fifties but that was a union of two living cells that date back to that origin. I realize that by confirming life in the remainder of the universe I may have to adjust those figures. I think I can live with that.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I suppose our search is sort of a long shot but I have seen a lot of good people trying pretty hard, so I thought I would give it a try. Besides it may be nice to someday being found partially to blame for life being out there.
