"Save A Little Prayer"

save a little prayer
for a friend of mine
who's heart has fallen down
and brought him down so low
save a little prayer
and set it free into the sky
and hope that it may land
before his eyes

save a little love
for a friend of mine
who feels that all is lost
where nothing can be found
save a little love
and set it free into the night
and hope that he will see
it's shining light

though we have days and nights less magic
than the dreams we heard whispered on the wind
though we have times when the times just seem so hard
it never hurts to have a friend
to give you strength to try again

save a little hope
for a friend of mine
who cannot find a way
to make it through the night
save a little hope
and set it free to find his heart
and hope that it will land
within his sight

Staind:Falling
From LyricWiki

This song appears on the album "Chapter V (2005)" by Staind
You in your shell
are you waiting for someone to rescue you
from yourself.
Don't be disappointed when no one comes.

Don't blame me you didn't get it [3x]

[Chorus]
I already told you, that falling is easy its getting back up that becomes the problem,
becomes the problem
and if you don't believe you can find a way out you become the problem,
become the problem.

You, all alone,
are you waiting for someone to make you whole?
Can't you see
aren't you tired of this dysfunctional routine.

Don't blame me you didn't get it [3x]

[Chorus]

[Chorus]

falling is easy its getting back up that becomes the problem,
becomes the problem
and if you believe you can find a way out then you solve the problem,
you solve your problem.

"Justice and Unity"

everybody's talking about justice and unity
all the while they're waiting for someone to lead them
everybody's wanting something to live for
but they don't know it's already here

everyone is dreaming of some great tomorrow
leaving today to die lying fallow
everyone wants a dream that will answer
the question of why they are here

all the world is pulling in different directions
while the powers that be try to crush insurrrections
all the world is living on time that is borrowed
the rent is now long overdue

why do we have to suffer this shame?
who are we?
should we try to explain?
is it time to face our fears?
are they right?
should we all disappear?

everybody's talking about justice and unity
all the while they're waiting for someone to lead them
everybody's wanting something to live for
but they don't know that it's already here

I think I'd like to put the vocals to this one, Dan. May I attempt it?

Interesting.
Well, it made me think of two possibilities.
One that is reminiscent of TfF's "Sowing the Seeds of Love."
The other would be ... heavier.

"House Divided"

Living in a house divided
Backbit by a past that tries us
Living in safe denial
That the way we choose is the way for all
Living with a heart that’s broken
Left cold as the words were spoken
Hanging on as you watch them fall

And who will win the satisfaction
Of being king on the losing day
Who will claim the deed of nothing
As the castle burns away

Living in a house divided
Backbit by a past that tries us
Living in safe denial
That the way we choose is the way for all
Living with a heart that’s broken
Left cold as the words were spoken
Hanging on as you watch them fall

And who will be the one who’s weeping
Standing here as the last stone falls
Who will be the one who’s smiling
Just the way he told them all

Living in a house divided
Backbit by a past that tries us
Living in safe denial
That the way we choose is the way for all
Living with a heart that’s broken
Left cold as the words were spoken
Hanging on as you watch them fall

On Conflict
October, 1995 (WAS)

Wish I could say
that I didn't see this coming,
but I've felt this way for a long time.
Such a very long time.
And I wish I could say
that only you were to blame.
But I know the part I played (yes, I played it well) so I can't.
But I guess you can.

Conflict - it hardens hearts.
Conflict - tears people apart!
Conflicts - escalate.
Conflicts - devastate!

Conflict - with a forgotten start.
Conflict - now it's gone too far.
Raise a shield and choose your weapon.
Bitter fight to the end.

Wish I could stay,
but there's nothing to be gained here.
With each step forward, one step back.
Can't go on like that (it's a living hell).
Wish I could stay.
Heal each-every-bloody wound.
But instead I end up causing more.
Somebody show me the door?

Conflict - of sticks & stones.
Conflict - see broken bones.
Don't you see what we have managed?
Broken hearts grow cold.
Conflict - I think it's time ...
Conflict - I think it's time ...
When everything around me has been damaged,
I know it's time to go.
Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes.

Oles nye autobil
kører i timen otte mil
tøf - tøf - tøf - tøf -tøf
tøf - tøf - tøf - tøf -tøf.

Bilen den er rød og fin
dufter aldrig af benzin.

Den kan skyde en vældig fart
når den får en rigtig start.

Men en dag, den løb bardus
ind i søsters dukkehus.

Dukkefar og dukkemor
sad så pænt ved kaffebord.

Kaffetår og porcelæn
flød på dugen ren og pæn.

Og nu stakkels dukkefar
nu han ingen hoved har.
tøf - tøf - tøf - tøf -tøf
tøf - tøf - tøf - tøf -tøf.

A fart can be quiet,
a fart can be loud,
Some leave a powerful,
poisonous cloud...

A fart can be short,
or a fart can be long,
Some farts have been known
to should just like a song...

A fart can create
a most curious medley,
A fart can be harmless,
or silent, but deadly...

A fart might not smell,
while others are vile,
A fart may pass quickly,
or linger awhile...

A fart can occur
in a number of places,
And leave everyone
with strange looks on their faces...

From wide-open prairie,
to small elevators,
A fart will find all of us
sooner or later...

But not all farts are bad,
this is simply not true -
We mustn't forget...

Dear, sweet, old farts like you!

"Love Survives"

At the end of all these days
The times we call our lives
We may look upon them
With fire still in our eyes
The flame of passion burning
We remember how we tried
When we close the book forever
Somehow love survives

Time Will Carry Me On

it's easy to forget about the people you met on the way
just saw 'em for a day...and then they're gone
it's easy to think this moment will live on and on
but when the morning has come
it's another day

it's hard to remember about the bad times gone good
when you misunderstood...and then forget
it's hard to think this day is just like the rest
just another sunset
it's another night

oooohh...time will carry me on
time will set me free
time will imprison me
oooooh...days and nights go past
they come so fast
and pass just like the breeze

it's funny to think back then that you thought that i would
you said we'd be so good...for an endless age
it's funny to think that i knew you would go
from rain into snow
it's another place

ooooh...time will carry me on
time will set me free
time will imprison me
ooooh...days and nights go past
they come so fast
and pass just like the breeze
