I currently work for a company as a Network Techy, I am a keen Photography and Webmaster, hosting many sites.

My nodes include:

Cerberus - Intel i5 750 O/C @ 4100Mhz Quad Core with Freezer Extreme Thermal Cooler, Asus P7P55D Extreme Evo Mobo, 6GB 2133Mhz DDR3 Dual Channel RAM, 3 x GT 240 OC'd.

Barny - Intel Pentium D 945 O/C @ 4200GHz Dual Core , 2048MB Pc533, runs 24/7 365!

Homer - Old laptop I had laying around but every little bit helps. Intel Celeron M 1500Mhz 256MB RAM. Mobo dies on this laptop 23/01/2010 RIP Homer!


All connected together using Gig Nics and a Gig Switch, plus 16MB Internet connection.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I love running SETI, I have always been a big believer that we are not alone and this project gives the average person a chance to try and prove that....WOW!

I do think that there are other life forms outhere probably smarter than us, probably hiding any signals as they don't want to be found as they have looked out and seen what a mess we have made down here!
