Thunder to north of me Thunder to the south And the west And the east We had one thunderous squall earlier on this afternoon and it looks as if it's brewing another one. Winning now that I've finished chores for today and am enjoying my 3rd coffee break for the morning. The only problem now is what to do while waiting for LLB to arrive. Cheers. |

7-29-2021 at 4:14 AM - PDT Well, I have BAD news and GOOD news; in that order: 1.) I was notified by a mentor of mine, (who's 90th Birthday party I attended this past Saturday), on Monday that he tested positive for COVID. Yes, he and his wife were vaccinated with Pfizer, months ago. (So was I.... (March 28th and April 18th.)) 1A.) I called my Primary Care Doctor and was informed that I had to wait 5 days to see if I developed ANY symptoms.... Yesterday, my Sinusitis and Asthma acted up badly. I went in to their Walk-In Clinic and got tested. POSITIVE!!!!! :-( 2.) Because of my Severe Asthma, (compounded by dripping Sinuses into the lungs), I was immediately given a potent shot of cortisone to help alleviate inflammation in the lungs. Next, because I'm also overweight, I was set up with a sister clinic to receive the monoclonal antibodies, as well as having oral cortisone and an antibiotic to prevent bronchitis prescribed and filled by my pharmacy. 3.) Received monoclonal antibodies at 3:15 PM yesterday. I was informed that it could take 4-7 Days for these antibodies to take effect and they'd last 90 Days; after which I'm supposed to take on ANY Pfizer Booster that MAY be available, as well as receiving my annual Flu Shot. I'm starting to feel a little better. This, so far, feels no worse than a moderate cold that has inflamed my lungs due to my asthma. No body aches, no fever to speak of, no flu-like symptoms. I'm NOT even oversleeping. TL [Edited to correct punctuation.] TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Join Calm Chaos |

[@Carlos,] Parents are both getting tested today, (same Clinic), and I think mom has caught it from me. :-( Mom is coughing and sneezing, has a headache. Dad is showing no symptoms, yet. (Parents are both 80.) TL I ditto that. [@Mike,] Thanks Mike, I'm just taking things easy, and taking things one day at a time. :-) TL TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Good luck TL, for you and your parents. Being heavy, yeah it can be painful all on its own, adding in asthma, arthritis, joint problems from previous dislocations, part of the stomach up with my lungs(weird stomach aches), etc, etc, etc... Does not help. Take care TL. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |
