Ah, layout is more or less back to normal, but the little flags have gone for a hike????Good. They were a GDPR breaking invasion of privacy. :P Hi Jord, Say what!? How is having your country flag displayed considered an invasion of privacy? Besides, the display can somehow be disabled in account settings or better yet, just say you're from another country altogether and that country flag gets displayed. I do not agree that the flag is an invasion of privacy. By the way, what is "GDPR"? Have a great day! :) Siran [edit] Perhaps we can persuade them to give us the option of displaying it or not. Oh wait, we already had the option. ;) [/edit] CAPT Siran d'Vel'nahr - L L & P _\\// Winders 11 OS? "What a piece of junk!" - L. By the way, what is "GDPR"? Hi Mr. Kevvy Sorry, I don't use Google for searches anymore. :P I wasn't THAT interested in knowing what it meant. But, if you insist, I shall use DuckDuckGo. Have a great day! :) Siran [edit] Yeah, I kinda figured it had something to do with countries on the other side of the great pond: The General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union and the European Economic Area. It also addresses the export of personal data outside the EU and EEA areas. I still do not believe that displaying one's country flag is in anyway an invasion of privacy. I was proud to have mine displayed. And, like I said, we have the option to not have it displayed in the account setting. Just select "None" as your country and no flag. Simple! I still do not believe that displaying one's country flag is in anyway an invasion of privacy. You then know in general where I live. Which may be a privacy invasive measure. Just like indicating where you go with your car seems to be. Yeah, I kinda figured it had something to do with countries on the other side of the great pond:Ah, but it'll soon be at a forums you navigate as well, as as I learned today, the great state of California is busy with their own version: California Consumer Privacy Act. My original post was a sarcastic one. If you didn't get it. |

Just like indicating where you go with your car seems to be. Hi Jord, You're right, I did not catch the sarcasm aspect of your post. Sorry my friend. :) Other than my being born in California, California can do as it pleases and I don't care. Heck, they want to become their own country! Stupid idea if I ever heard one. Yeah, having the flag displayed does give a "general" location. If someone wanted to come find where I'm at, more power to 'em. The car I drive has no connection to the outside world, except the tires hitting the ground. I will not buy a car or truck that has a connection to satellites, no way, now how. ;) No LoJack for this dude! :) Have a great day my friend! :) Siran CAPT Siran d'Vel'nahr - L L & P _\\// Winders 11 OS? Borked again? Getting this...Here too - right at the head of the page, above the banner (took me a moment to work out what you were talking about). But at least we've got our country flags back. |

Borked again? Getting this...Here too - right at the head of the page, above the banner (took me a moment to work out what you were talking about). Hi Richard, Man oh man! I used to see things like that when I would work on my website. I would end up fixing it though, but... I haven't a clue what I did to cause it or what I did to fix it. I don't remember if it was script related or HTML. It's been so long since I have seen it. Hooray! My flag is back! :) Have a great day! Siran CAPT Siran d'Vel'nahr - L L & P _\\// Winders 11 OS? You haven't done anything. The working assumption is that David Anderson is testing unrelated (and undocumented) changes, and not checking each time for unexpected collateral damage. |

When the website look different I had my country flag displaying however it's URL to the left of the flag. From my personal point of view I actually found it a lot easier to read the posts with them then displayed on the right-hand side of the page. Whatever change was made did not affect me in the slightest it looks like some of the BLC 33 tasks are noise bombs. I had a high number of these last night New Zealand time (8 May) as of yet I don't think I've seen any for 9 May |

The good news is the format of the website is not shifted from what it usually is even if the error message is showing up. Tom A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association). |

The good news is the format of the website is not shifted from what it usually is even if the error message is showing up. Well, that page loads first without any styles and renders that way, then the CSS loads and the page renders again. So a new different error, in addition toe the error at the top of every page. <edit>Appears to have been fixed in the last few minutes. |

Things look to have been corrected, no error lines or huge giant text and the pages load way faster. Cheers. |
