Already trawled that site & nowhere does it state that NASA & NSF currently fund S@H. Maybe at one time it did, but neither is currently funding it. At the last time this came up, I believe the project needed at least $240,000 per annum to survive.

If that is so, the $1,000,000 they're getting requires no voluntary donations!

Edit. Do see the NASA & NSF logos, but that proves nothing. The funding was pulled, but are you saying it has been restored on the QT?

No need, I've found what I was looking for, so my bad. However, the NSF does indeed fund S@H but only Astropulse & only covers 35% of the annual budget. As for the rest of S@H, still cannot find any proof that NASA funds them.

I would say the Bankruptcy Trustee is teaching an invaluable life lesson the the people of Detroit. You know how many American's are up to their eyeballs in debt, credit card debt, option ARM debt, even student loan debt. The Bankruptcy Trustee is teaching that their are consequences if you don't pay your bills. That is a very important lesson, and one damn few American's have learned.

You are correct, it is more complicated than that. They are trying to make it for profit so they can privatise it. That seems to be what has started this sudden attempt to recoup money.

You are correct, it is more complicated than that. They are trying to make it for profit so they can privatise it. That seems to be what has started this sudden attempt to recoup money.

The sudden attempt to recoup the money is because the city is in bankruptcy court and the city is no longer in charge of it finances, the bankruptcy trustee is in charge. His job is to be a ruthless bastard and milk every dime out possible and while not spending another.

You really should be asking how a city like Detroit ends up in bankruptcy court. I know there is a different King's English term for bankrupt and the court proceedings, insolvent? The trustee is doing a partial liquidation of the city.

I was having sport. This is a joke forum is it not? I did send an email to the Congressman last month asking him to fund SETI. My computer had a major melt down, it will be back in the winter.
