Only in the upper 80's here, VB. Down to the upper 60's after the rains came in.

Shocking Michael, here if We're lucky We get rain and no lightning, usually we get virga, but then the desert is usually too hot to allow the rain to get to the ground, hence virga...

Not heard of virga.

In meteorology, virga is an observable streak or shaft of precipitation that falls from a cloud but evaporates or sublimes before reaching the ground.

Cool to learn stuff, not cool the temps are that high.

Those temps are in the 100F+ range for 110 days a year, for about 45-60 days they are cold enough for snow and sometimes like in 2008, we got 6" of snow, meanwhile 45 miles away in Victorville they got 12" of snow that day, the 15 freeway was closed from the CA/NV border to the Cajon Pass cause of Snow, it was really quiet and serene too...

We have the same heat as Phoenix, but due to thunderstorms and swamp coolers the humidity does go up, from time to time.

DON'T spoil it for me!!! It hasn't been aired here yet!!! I'm still on Matt Smith; the season finale part 2 doesn't air on BBC-America until November!

Its not been aired anywhere yet, they just announced who it was going to be a couple of weeks ago. I won't spoil it, but its an interesting choice.

Yeah, Peter (somebody - I haven't memorized the last name, yet)... Some of us here in the Cafe were talking about this in another Thread. I don't know anything about the new guy yet; I haven't read anything, and I don't want to know until Matt Smith regenerates to the new guy... ;-)

One of the things we were discussing is that if the producers hold true to the original format from the classic series is that with Peter, there is only ONE regeneration left in The Doctor's lives... How are they going to get around that if they want to continue the show beyond 13 Doctors???
