Message 1395045 - Posted: 26 Jul 2013, 4:03:50 UTC - in response to Message 1395034.

Posting after dinner...

I had homemade tacos. What did you have?

4 fish sticks, carrots, cauliflower and broccoli...

Do you have a 6 Qt. Crock-Pot? I have an AWESOME Chili recipe that I can PM you.

Thanks, but My shopping is limited this month, I don't or won't have the extra money to buy the ingredients and no I don't own a crock-pot, the closest is an aluminum stew pot that might be 8 quarts in size that I inherited back in 1998.

When you're ready, you can use your 8 Qt. stove top pot, it just won't need to cook as long... My recipe makes 6 Qts. of the BEST chili you've ever tasted.

Ok sock it to Me TL4.

I just sent you the PM, Vic.

In your 8 Qt. Dutch Oven, simmer for about 4 Hours; stirring regularly.

It's an aluminum pot that was made down near where Monday lives, in Australia, it can even be put in the oven.

I've never cooked in an aluminum pot before; so, monitor the chili closely... If you feel the chili is done at 2 Hrs, then turn it off and serve... Cook it at least 2 hrs, though.
