On an unrelated note, my old desktop has sadly lain down and died, so i've been forced to buy a new one. Given that i bought the last one in 2003 i don't think ten years is bad going.

New PC is an Intel Core i5, with 8GB RAM and a 2TB hard drive. Bargain at £269, the advantage of not having Windows included.

Best of all, it being 64-bit, my graphics card is finally recognised for SETI crunching, looking forward to getting an RAC into four figures at last.

So am I, but I live in a Hot Desert and that gets Cold flashes in the winter, oh and if you can, as soon as possible try and add another 8GB of ram, My i5 750 likes 16GB better than 8GB.
