They ran out of pre-1900 pickle some time ago. Shortly after John and I ordered fifty cases each... (and if my cases are anything to go by there's none left)
'twas good, but nowhere near as good as the 1812

Message from the future: It is Day 10,950 of John Clark's recovery...It's been 30 years and John Clark is still complaining of the quality of pickles that he is getting...He does not believe in the worldwide pickle shortage...He believes that someone is hoarding the pickles that should be rightfully his to consume.

Hmm, thirty years to a pickle shortage. John better start laying up some so he can survive. I'll send over some freshly pickled walnuts (less than a year old) so he can start them maturing in his own secret pickle bunker. (I have a stash already, so I won't be short of a few cases)

We know you do, John; a jar of your vintage 1812 pickles was found
in the cellar...Rob and I ate them...oooooops!! Well, you were always going
to find out once you carried out a stock check down there in the cellar.

We even tried to get Covent Garden renamed back to it's original source as a Convent Garden, but they were having nun of it.
