Mike, John...
Better put one up for Chris, he'll be here soon.

Someone call? Hmmm, upon reflection I will forego the beer and at this time of night, enjoy a nice glass of red wine. Any Châteauneuf-du-Pape going?

Hmmm...you have an expensive taste there Chris;)

Went to see the movie "Rock of Ages" tonight. It was really silly, but we enjoyed the flash back to the 80s and all the rock songs.

I would say that we haven't heard them for a while, but Canadian radio stations haven't moved on much passed the 80s. ;)

I went shopping with my sister in law and the kids yesterday. I didn't buy that much though, a pair of shoes, a skirt and a watch. We had some ice cream too, we really enjoyed the day although the weather wasn't that good. Today I rearranged some of the personal stuff of my late husband. It is with pain in the heart I have to sell it. If I don't do it, I will keep on living in the past.

I too wish to see Julie's very sad avatar smiling.

Mark is not alone in that ambition.

Glad you had a good day with the relatives, and even managed to force an ice cream down - just to steady the nerves I assume?

Watches - I've go you down as Tag Heuer girl, probably a Monaco, or maybe a Link...

Hoping Julie's day was a good one, and the sadness can be controlled for periods.

Sheila & I went to Nottingham with our eldest son and his wife to the youngest for Fathers Day lunch, and see the Grand Children. Wee really enjoyed the meal, company and seeing bout children.

That was the first time I saw Effie (6 weeks old) and I haven't seen Olly for 3 month, since before my saga started.
