When I was in Nuclear school, they told us that low doses of radiation would kill viruses and other bad stuff. It seemed to be true, but I had to reduce my occupational exposure - the blueish glow kept my girlfriends awake. Barman, a pint of Harp, please. Even without the assistance of the nuclear radiation. 20 years in the Navy, the only time I got the flu was from a flu shot. But sometimes i do miss being my own nightlight.
